Evan Waters

I always wanted to become a primary school teacher and was looking to continue with a PGCE at university. However, my path went another way, into a route of a sport I love which can save lives.

What was your best achievement in your swimming career?

I feel my most valued achievement was gaining entry to Millfield Senior School in Somerset with a sports scholarship. This opportunity gave me the chance to expand my knowledge and to train with up-coming and current olympic athletes.

What do you enjoy the most?

I love being able to balance both career paths with SafelySwim. I enjoy the marketing, web-design and site management, as well as teaching the new generation in a sporting activity I have been passionate about all my life!
