96 Month Report

2025 has been a transformational year for SafelySwim, and as we reach nearly 100 months being operational, we felt the need to discover what went on over 2025. We navigated change, protected our swimmers’ progress, and used the DOYRMS closure period to build systems and pathways that will support families for years to come. Here’s what we accomplished this year:

Key Achievements of 2025

SafelySwim Endless Launched: During the DOYRMS closure, we introduced SafelySwim Endless and created clear ways for swimmers to continue their lessons. Now on the other side, we are already seeing the long term benefit of having a pool dedicated to beginners learning their first 5 metres before moving to DOYRMS when they are ready. Website and Payment Upgrades: We upgraded our website to better support families paying monthly, improving the way we charge for our services and making payments more streamlined, reliable, and easier to manage. We migrated swimmers who participate in our Private Lessons and Adult Groups. .

Faster Booking Experience: Alongside our payment upgrades, we improved site performance to make pages load quicker, process bookings faster, and prevent duplicate bookings, creating a smoother experience for families.

Awards Improved: We upgraded the way we complete award assessments and introduced better notifications to parents when an award has been achieved, improving how we praise and celebrate success across our classes. New Programs and Initiatives

Primary School First Aid Courses: We supported local schools by delivering our Primary School First Aid Courses for schools that participate in our School Swimming Sessions, as well as schools that use us to provide their First Aid Training.

Internal Training System via appDot: We implemented our own bespoke training system through appDot, supporting teachers and trainees to complete role specific training. This improves knowledge, reinforces expectations, and provides a shared base for everyone, allowing more team members to support swimmers universally, following the SafelySwim pathway while maintaining standards as we grow.

Competitive Training, Weekdays Only: We introduced competitive training all week for our club swimmers, Monday to Friday. This means no weekend training, keeping weekends free for family time and for galas.

Our First Internal Swimming Teaching Course: Over August 2025, we completed a successful training programme for our junior instructors who passed their Level 1 Swimming course. Great achievement keeping training and courses inhouse to better the team going forward.

Team Recognition and Growth

Team Development and Consistency: 2025 was a year of strengthening how we deliver lessons as one team. With improved lesson planning, training structure, and standardised workflows, we have created a more consistent experience for swimmers and families, no matter who is teaching.

Competitive Growth: We have seen brilliant growth in our Learn to Compete programme and squad numbers, with more swimmers committing to regular training and taking the next step in their journey.

County Progress: We are also proud to share that we more than doubled our county attendance in 2025, and we have continued that momentum into 2026, showing the progress our swimmers are making, and the confidence they are building through consistent coaching and support.

Stage 1 from Endless to DOYRMS: One of the challenges in September was supporting swimmers migrating from SafelySwim Endless to DOYRMS once they were swimming 5 metres unaided. The team came together to find a solution that would support the swimemrs learning and maintain safety and confidence during this process. Milestone Developments

Closure Resilience and Long Term Gains: The DOYRMS closure challenged us, but it also helped shape a stronger SafelySwim. The improvements we made to venues, systems, training, and awards have created a better foundation, both for our Learn to Swim programme and for the community services we deliver.

Looking Forward to 2026

We completed our goals set last year for 2025 in our 84 Month Report. Goals for 2026 have been set in hope they are achieved for our 108 month report in 2027.

  • Introduce and grow an Adult Masters programme with ambition to represent WCSC.
  • Develop our Private Lessons at SafelySwim Endless to support our adults and competitive swimmers who wish for a quiet learning environment.
  • Expand and strengthen our internal team training so every swimmer receives the same SafelySwim standards.
  • Improve our Social Media content and produce regular engaging content to benefit individuals outside our community.
  • Keep growing our school and community first aid programmes, supporting more people with life saving skills.

Thank you to our families and supporters for helping us navigate a year of change and growth. We are proud of what we achieved in 2025, and we cannot wait to share what is coming next.
