84 Month Report

2024 has been a standout year for SafelySwim, celebrating 7 years of growth, achievement, and community impact. Here’s what we accomplished this year:

Key Achievements of 2024

Partnership with Level Water: In April 2024, we teamed up with Level Water to provide specialized Private Lessons for swimmers with disabilities. This initiative has already made a meaningful difference.

New Main Office: We opened a dedicated office space, giving our team a quiet area to manage communications and operations away from poolside.

Enhanced Training: With our new partnership with RLSS and Swim England, we now provide continuous training for our team and surrounding schools, businesses and individuals. This development allows our community to grow and stay qualified.

Successful Crash Courses: We reintroduced our popular Crash Courses in April and July, offering intensive sessions that boosted swimmers’ progress during school breaks.

New Programs and Initiatives

Adult Swimming Opportunities: We launched new subscription plans for adults, offering 1 or 2 weekly sessions to better meet their learning and fitness goals.

New Policies & Payment Systems : We have also updated our working policies to better the relationships between customers and administrators, as well as launched a subscription payment system, making it easier for parents and the team to manage lesson payments.

Water Safety Award: for our School Swimming Students who didn’t manage to make the National Curriclum requirment, will still be able to achieve a Water Confidence Award presented by SafelySwim.

Competitive Morning Training: We welcomed the new morning sessions for our Competitive Swimmers on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings before school. Opening another 6 hours of pool time for those wanting to go to competition.

School Partnerships: Expanded our reach to schools in Canterbury, Folkestone, and Deal, enriching their Learn to Swim programs.

Team Recognition and Growth

Lee Shepherd Honored: We are proud to announce that Lee Shepherd was awarded the South East Development Club Coach of the Year 2024, a testament to his dedication and excellence.

New Team Members: This year, we welcomed Ava, Amelie, Lee B, Charmaine, Orla, Alex, and Scott, along with Shanelle, our Lead Teacher who supports the admin team, and Charlie, who ensures training safety and compliance. To learn more about the team, see our meet the team page.

Milestone Club Developments

White Cliffs Swimming Club Website: A new site was launched to keep parents connected and informed. To have a look around, see their website here.

Overseas Training Session: We booked the club’s first international training camp, set for April 2025.
