As we move into the new year, we are continuing our commitment to delivering high-quality swimming lessons with experienced instructors, small class sizes and a supportive learning environment. To ensure we can maintain this standard sustainably, we will be updating our prices from 1st January 2026.

These changes also allow us to bring our Private Lessons and Adult Group Lesson structure fully in line with its intended purpose, keeping lessons safe, effective and fair for all swimmers.

Below is a summary of the new pricing structure

• Group Lessons (Stages 1–7 & Fitness): £11.50 per lesson
• Group Lessons at SafelySwim Endless (Seahorses & Stage 1): £13.50 per lesson
• Baby & Toddler Classes: £13.50 per lesson
• Competitive Training
  • (1-hour per week): £11.50 per session
  • (2-hours per week): £9.50 per session
  • (3-hours+ per week): 4-6% increase depending on squad
• Adult Learn to Swim: £11.50 per week
  • (2-lessons per week): £18.00 per week

Private Lessons with Level 1 Instructors

• 1:1 Single Lesson: £27.50
• 1:2 Single Lesson: £39.00

Private Lessons with Level 2 Instructors

• 1:1 Single Lesson: £34.50
• 1:2 Single Lesson: £46.00

Updates to Private Lessons 1:2

Over time, we have seen more families add a second swimmer to a Private Lesson for a small supplement. While understandable, this often means the second swimmer misses out on the benefits of a Group Lesson, the session becomes less safe or effective when abilities differ, and the purpose of a Private Lesson — focused 1:1 support — is diluted.

Private Lessons are designed for swimmers who need individual attention, and mixing ability levels can compromise both safety and progress.

From January, the cost of adding a second swimmer will match the price of a Group Lesson (£11.50).

This keeps the structure fair, reduces the incentive to use Private Lessons in place of group classes, and ensures each swimmer is placed in the environment that best supports their development.

Our aim is simple: to keep Private Lessons for those who genuinely need 1:1 teaching, and to guide other swimmers into the group setting that will help them progress confidently alongside others.

Adult Group Lessons

We’re bringing our Adult Group Lessons in line with our Learn to Swim programme.

From now on, anyone booked into a Wednesday or Friday Adult Group Lesson will move to a simple monthly billing plan at £11.50 per lesson, for the amount of lessons expected to be running during that month.

Those participating in two lessons a week, their second lesson will be reduced to £6.25.

Lesson times will now be 19:00 - 19:30 on a Wedneday and Friday evening.

For those who prefer flexibility, one-off Adult Lessons will still be available to book online at £15.00 per session.

Sibling Discount to Support Families

We’re pleased to continue a 15% sibling discount for families with 3 or more children within the same household who are enrolled in our Group Lessons paying via subscription.

This discount will be automatically applied to eligible accounts and is our way of saying thank you for growing with us.

Please note: this discount only applies to group lesson subscriptions and is not available on any other lesson types.

Maintaining the Best Teaching Ratios in the Area

As we move into 2026, we will continue to retain the best teaching ratios that set SafelySwim apart. Our beginner sessions at SafelySwim Endless operate at an outstanding 1:3 ratio, one of the strongest ratios available locally. Smaller groups mean safer lessons, more meaningful feedback, and faster, more confident progress for every swimmer.

We are also committed to supporting our Junior Assistants, who play an important role in helping swimmers develop their skills. By continuing to include assistants in our Group Lessons, we ensure each class has the support it needs to run smoothly and deliver the level of quality families expect from us.

Even with these enhanced ratios, additional staffing and ongoing investment into our team, equipment and customer support, our pricing remains below the average for providers offering a similar standard of service. These updates allow us to maintain the quality, safety and structure our swimmers rely on, while continuing to grow and support the dedicated team who deliver your lessons each week.
