I first got into swimming when I was 8 as my mum wanted me to be safe if going swimming with friends. This quickly turned into me loving the water and I went on to swim competitively from there!
I competed at national level for 4 years in various events which is definitely something I'm proud of. I also competed at regional and county level for 7 years which was always good fun.
I love going on a journey with the swimmers. Taking a child with little or no swimming experience and helping them develop into a swimmer and achieve their goals is one of the best parts of the job!
