I made nationals in 2015 for 1500m freestyle and have competed at regional and county level, whilst picking up some medals. I now focus on helping the next generation achieve their swimming goal.
I’ve been a swimmer for most of my life. I was introduced to the sport by my mum who wanted me to exert some energy in the water rather than irritating her at home. I started swimming competitively at age eight.
I enjoy seeing swimmers develop and overcome challenges, whether this is putting their face in the water or breaking 1 minute for 100m freestyle. It makes the hard work worth it.
