Returning After Lockdown Two

It was great to hear this week that swimming pools will be able to reopen when lockdown ends on the 2nd December. But how are we going to return, and what happens to us in the tiered system?

Return to Group Lessons & Learn to Compete

We will return as we left off in November, where we were running reduced-sized classes. Those that had booking spaces will be continuing where they left off, those that were booked but haven’t yet started will be given a new start date. Finally, those that haven’t yet been given a booking date will be contacted when a space is available.

Return to Private Lessons

We will be restarting our Private Lessons again throughout the week, if you were booked in a Private Lesson with a tutor between August and November 2020 you will be contacted by your tutor to be rebooked in.

Speed Through Technique

Those that booked for November, the lessons up to the 4th November will be deducted. The remaining balance can be used for December sessions. Should there be more sessions available than that was purchased a top-up payment will be made available for you online. Those that have remaining sessions after December will be rolled over for January 2021.

Stage 1’s & Unbooked Swimmers

We are going to continue our system of introducing small numbers of new learners back into the pool. Those that were with us in March but haven’t booked this term will be contacted when a suitable class is available. Those who were in our Seahorses and Stage 1 Group lessons, but haven’t booked this term, are able to join as a Private Lesson, or continue to wait for a group lesson space.

For those that were with us in March, but haven’t competed the ‘Restart Form’ please make sure you do so. This will help decrease admin time and let us organise what sessions work best for you.

Baby & Toddler

Those that were booked in these sessions will be able to return for the rest of the term, until the 17th of December. The remaining weeks will be credited to your account to be used for another session or Term 3 classes. We will be in touch about this at a later date.

Those that were not booked on, but wanted to join us, booking is now available online for the final 3 weeks of the Term. Please see the link below.

Tier Three Regulations

Should Dover enter Tier Three, those that take part in our sessions and are under the age of 18 will be able to continue. Swimming is a part of the curriculum for Primary Schools and is considered an educational activity, therefore, our School Swimming Sessions will also continue from the 2nd December.

Those above the age of 18, where the restriction prevents other households mixing, will sadly have to finish until we are back into Tier Two or below. This also includes, indoor sport, exercise classes and group activities.

Social Distancing

We have taken the utmost care with the set up of our classes, and have been managing to keep spectators and swimmers socially distant throughout their session. We have taken all the necessary action to keep people from mixing with other non-household participants and will continue to look for support from our customers to help us ensure this continues when we return.

What to do now!

We are super excited to be able to return for a few weeks before Christmas. We will email those in lessons with us with all the details they need. To help, please check your junk folder, Facebook and our website for any updates on our return.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Once again, thank you for all of your support and we are excited to get back into it!
