Why do SafelySwim need a Privacy Policy?


SafelySwim, like most companies operate online and collect enquiry information to contact people who wish to learn to swim. We are under a legal obligation to let all of our customers know what personal information we collect and what we use the information for and on what basis.

The information we collect is stored and collected securely using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and the data stored is only accessible by a few authorised people at SafelySwim. We have never collected card details, addresses and occupation information from our customers. The only data we use is full names, date of birth, contact number and email addresses. We have no need to collect any other information from you, and never will.

We collect this data to improve our services and help us provide a personalised service to all of our customers. The data is also used to contact and update our customers with events, class changes and vital information to help educate and improve awareness of our company goals.

You have the right to know what information we hold about you and obtain a copy. If this is something you wish to have, please email us. You are also entitled to request a change or have the information deleted at any time.

The next time we update our Privacy Policy is between now and the 25th May 2018 as further data protection laws come into effect.
