Benefits of Swimming

Swimming is an activity that is often overlooked when wanting to lose weight, often do we find people using the term ‘I’m going to the gym’ when referencing a workout. Believe it or not, Swimming is more beneficial than people realise. Swimming is a life saver, it strengthens the body and improves posture, not only will it increase stamina but also your strength and overall mindset. My reasons follow.

After one hour of swimming your levels of stress decline and your respiratory system is strengthened. If you keep this going three times in one week, you will find your blood circulation will improve and the mechanism that removes cholesterol begins to work and improve. By week two you will notice improvements in your sleep and your mood should be more relaxed.

By putting this effort in for a total of six hours over two weeks the improvements are extraordinary! I find people do not realise how much of a difference swimming can make to somebody’s life.

Continuing this for two months you will find your fitness has improved dramatically, and your physique has started to slim. We also find, your body will be more resistant to infection and bacteria. Obviously, this will only happen if you also put some work into your diet.

If you are strong-willed, and continue this for six whole months back to back, you will have a slimmer figure, and you will be in a good state of health.
